We recently acquired the ugliest pets in the world. Actually, this time
they are pets of the "soon to be food" persuasion: two black pigs.
They are supposedly special or something, but I don't see their charms. I did
catch this picture of them grazing with the bunny the other day, which is
pretty hilarious, but after all the books I've read about diseases being spread
between species (ie Guns Germs and Steel, a Mike Davis one about bird flu) also
sort of terrifying.
